PUBG update for PC and 4 million players on XBOX One
Double news when it comes to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds! A large PUBG update has been launched for the PC and on the Xbox One there are now 4 million players worldwide. It is the third major update for the PC since leaving the Early Access status.
It took a little longer than expected, but the update for the popular game has finally been launched for PC players by developer PUBG Corp. The update does not involve drastic changes when it comes to gameplay, but brings more stability with it to improve the experience of the game.
The PUBG update and Xbox One celebration
For example, the location where each player is before the game starts is changed, because normally every player starts in the same small area waiting for the game to start. This always creates a lot of interaction between players, because there are enough weapons to be found in these places. This interaction had a high impact on the server, because so many players are shooting at each other in such a small place. Now the players are divided into different zones, this ensures that the game is ultimately a lot smoother.
In addition, the community on the Xbox One is growing by the day, so there are already more than four million PUBG players on the console of Microsoft. This has to be celebrated, so anyone who has bought or is going to buy PUBG before January 31 will get a nice bonus of 30,000 Battle Points. With this you can buy different things, like different crates to strengthen your character.
